The Nile Cruise is a time honoured tradition to visiting the pharaonic antiquities of Egypt. This is a luxurious way to explore Upper Egypt, its temples and its ancient tombs along the river.
Nile cruises allow the traveller to visit a wide variety of antiquities along the banks of the river, and to experience first hand the lives of Egyptians thousands of years past. It is a wonderful experience to sit on a shaded deck of a floating hotel, sipping an iced beverage while watching 5,000 years of culture slowly drift by.
The Nile Travellers Club offers Nile cruises for three, four or seven nights. Shorter tours usually operate between Luxor and Aswan, while the longer cruises travel further north to Dendera, offering day tours overland to more remote locations.
For our Explorer Retreat members we offer sailing along the Nile in Egypt's traditional Nile sailboats or feluccas. Felucca cruises can be arranged aboard larger vessels traveling between Aswan and Luxor.
Felucca rides are also offered as an excursion to the Nile in Cairo. Should you wish to enjoy a beautiful sunset in an ancient city and experience the mysticism of the Nile, include a Felucca ride on your trip to Egypt.
